UMAI Gourmet is a family company which was set up in 2019, in a Spanish municipality in the province of Almeria, called Abla, with an innovative and fresh approach that seeks to reinterpret and recover the ancestral culinary traditions of the Mediterranean, aiming for a healthy cuisine with plant based preserves and patés.
Our products are known for their intense and delicate taste, with a sophisticated dash, that will get you to experience the “UMAI Gourmet 5º Sabor”.
This project stands up for rural resettlement, by letting know the craftsmanship of elaborating products in a complete artisanal way, as well as working in a fair trade system seeking environmental and cultural sustainability.

We have the Organic production stamp no.: AGR-02 / ECOAND / 311 / I / CC – 1 and we are currently working to get the Vegan seal.
Our quality seals are Luxury Spain (Spanish Luxury Products Association) and Sabores Almería, being awarded the black label.

We are driven by our land and traditions, our secret is Patience, the salt of the Huelva marshes and the pure cold air of the Sierra Nevada mountains peaks in Las Alpujarras, where UMAI Gourmet comes from.
Dehydrated vegetables from the Almeria countryside that are turned into patés and jams with a high nutritional value and artisanal superfoods, gluten free and with no preservatives nor colourants.
The aromatic plants we use are locally grown while the spices are imported using fair trade retailers.
